Quick Answer
Section titled “Quick Answer”BRIGANDINE ABYSS has 76 official named profiles: 72 Mission Mode nation leaders (24 nations × 3) plus 4 Abyssloa antagonist profiles. There is no verified official “10 hidden characters” list. Characters that feel “hidden” in Story Mode are usually other Mission Mode nation leaders or antagonist profiles. Strongholds can recruit Leaders and Monsters (official), but per-character unlock conditions and rates are not published in verified evidence — check in-game Organization Phase and stronghold recruitment screens, and use the Characters hub for the full roster.

What “hidden characters” means here
Section titled “What “hidden characters” means here”“Hidden” is often a player-framing term rather than an official category. In BRIGANDINE ABYSS it usually means:
- Story Mode campaign focus: your Story run spotlights one faction’s starting cast (commonly the campaign’s first three). Many of the 72 Mission Mode leaders will not appear among those Story starters and can feel hidden.
- Mission Mode breadth: Mission Mode contains 24 nations with three leaders apiece; those leaders are documented in the official index even if they do not show up in every Story run.
- Recruitable content: Strongholds can recruit or hire additional Leaders and Monsters per the official System documentation — but verified evidence does not publish per-character recruitment conditions, locations, or rates.
- Abyssloa antagonist profiles: four antagonist profiles exist in the official index; their antagonist status is confirmed, not any hidden-playable unlock status.
For the complete named roster, open the Characters hub.
